Society of St Vincent de Paul

Ministry Overview

The Society of Saint Vincent de Paul is a lay Catholic organization whose mission is to live the Gospel message by serving Christ in the poor with love, respect, justice and joy. Our mission is to help alleviate suffering and its causes, serving everyone, regardless of race, creed, gender, opinion or age.

We support regular initiatives such as the Bundle Up weekend, Toonie Sunday, World Day of the Poor, Christmas grocery gift card drive and many others. Volunteers of the Society visit those in need, in their homes to determine what kind of help they require. Home Visits allow us to provide personal support to those who ask for assistance. We are here to support you just as we would support a friend.
