Ministry Overview

Knights of Columbus was founded in 1882 by Blessed Michael J. McGivney. The Knights of Columbus is the world’s largest Catholic charitable fraternal organization with nearly two million members. Membership is open to all practicing Catholic men aged 18 or older.

St. Faustina Council is just one of the 16,000 Councils worldwide, and we are proudly serving the Merciful Redeemer Parish in Mississauga - Ontario. Our charitable fundraising event initiatives include  the Parish BBQ, Thanksgiving and Lent Food Drives, Pancake Tuesday, Coats For Kids. In addition we run a variety of Faith based programs - such as the Family Rosary, Lenten Retreats and Novena for Life etc. From the funds that we raise - our Council supports the Seminarians, Shepherd's trust, and some pro-life organizations like "Right to Life" and "Vita Centre".
