Service Ministries

This ministry is for parishioners willing to prepare and serve coffee on the last Sunday of every month after each morning Mass!

Knights of Columbus was founded in 1882 by Blessed Father Michael J. McGivney. The Knights of Columbus is the world’s largest Catholic charitable fraternal organization with nearly two million members. Membership is open to all Catholic men aged 18 or older. The Knights support regular initiatives such as the Parish BBQ, Thanksgiving and Lent Food Drives, Pancake Tuesday, Coats For Kids and many others. The Faustina Council at Merciful Redeemer Parish is led by the Grand Knight, Anthony Igbinovia.

The Lay Pastoral Visitors Ministry makes faith visits to the sick, elderly, and the home-bound of our parish community. As love is from God, our ministry's goal is twofold: first, we strive to deepen our relationship with the Lord - mainly by praying and participating in the Church sacraments – so that we can achieve the second goal, which is to bring Jesus to those members of our parish community who cannot go to the Church, hear the Word of God and receive the sacrament of the Holy Eucharist, which is the sacrament of unity and love. As we walk together in their recovery path, we expect to bring spiritual comfort and remind them that they are not alone, we all belong to God, He loves them immensely and the Parish community cares and prays for them.

The Society of Saint Vincent de Paul is a lay Catholic organization whose mission is to live the Gospel message by serving Christ in the poor with love, respect, justice and joy. Our mission is to alleviate suffering and its causes, serving everyone, regardless of race, creed, gender, opinion or age!
