Our ministry helps to prepare families for the Sacrament of Baptism and the entrance of their children into the Catholic Faith. It is made up of a group of dedicated volunteers who not only provide an understanding of the Catholic Faith and the Sacraments, but also assist our parish priests during baptisms. Training is scheduled on an as-needed basis. Please contact Sao-Kham Mork-Gerra at or call the parish office at (905) 812-0030.

Children’s Liturgy
Our ministry helps to break open the Word of God to the very young members of our parish during the 10:00 AM Mass and 12:00 PM Mass on Sundays from October to the end of May (seasonal). At the outset of the Liturgy of the Word, young children (ages 4–8 years old) are invited to assemble and process to our parish hall whereby a group of trained leaders help the children to understand the readings of the day through various means (e.g. prayers, songs, discussions and activities). Afterwards, children return to celebrate the Liturgy of the Eucharist with their families.

As volunteers, we will enhance couples’ readiness to have a healthy marriage.
