Prayer/Study Ministries

Eucharistic Adoration is the worship of the Eucharist outside of the Mass. We can show our adoration to God in many ways, but in Eucharistic Adoration, we spend time adoring the true presence of Christ in the Eucharist. Hours: every day from 7:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m. Please observe the following: adore in SILENCE; place cell phones on silent and SIGN IN and OUT at each visit (use the registered* or drop-in visitors’ log); if closed upon arrival, OPEN the Angel Doors covering the Monstrance; CLOSE the Angel Doors covering the Monstrance if the Chapel will be empty when you leave. Pease note: if you would like to be an Adorer, please register with the Adoration Ministry at (905) 812-0030 ext. 9 or email with your name, phone number and day and time of the regular weekly hour visit you promise to keep.
Bible Study
Because of the importance of Sacred Scripture in the Liturgy and in our spiritual lives as Catholics, our parish offers Bible Studies in the Fall and Winter. The study may be on an individual book of the Bible, or on a biblical theme such as Salvation, the Blessed Virgin Mary, or the Mass. Our presenter for our Bible Study is Deacon Brian du Quesnay.

Charismatic Prayer Group
A prayer meeting has several purposes: to praise, worship and honour God; to build up the Body of Christ through prayer, fellowship, testimony, sound Catholic teaching, meditation on the Word of God, and the exercise of Spiritual Gifts (cf. 1 Cor. 12: 7-11); to evangelize and offer intercessory prayers for spiritual, emotional and physical healing, as needed; and to offer annual parish-wide Life in the Spirit Seminars in order to facilitate the spiritual renewal of the person through a new outpouring of the Holy Spirit. Ministry sessions are every Monday from 7:00 – 8:00 p.m in the parish hall. If interested, please contact Adela Griffiths at (905) 821-7401 or Yvonne Kam at (416) 388-9290 / (905) 821-9337.

Men’s Fraternity
Helping men become better husbands, fathers and all around better men in Christ is the main goal of the Men’s Fraternity. We have heard repeated testimonies from both men and their wives of the profound impact that this program has had on their lives and in their marriages. Our program involves a Christian Video presentation followed by small group discussions. Men of every age and state in life are welcome to attend. Ministry sessions are every Saturday from 8:00 – 10:00 AM in the parish hall. If interested, please contact Sandro Castellarin at
Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) is a gathering of adults enquiring about God, Catholicism, and specifically joining the Catholic faith. Each candidate is matched up with a member from the parish who willingly volunteers as a sponsor who will walk with and support them throughout their faith journey, and guide them through Catholic teachings every week. Our ministry is looking for people who would like to sponsor our catechumens. Ministry sessions are every Thursday from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. and run from September until Easter.
