Catechesis of the Good Shepherd
The Catechesis of the Good Shepherd (CGS) is a parish-based approach to the religious formation/development of children, established in the Archdiocese of Toronto over thirty years ago. This catechesis originated in 1954 in Rome, inspired by the Montessori principles of education. The 'Atrium' is an environment specifically prepared to help the relationship between God and the child to flourish. Here, both the children and adults place themselves in a listening stance before His Word, and seek to participate in the mystery of liturgical celebration. Our trained Catechists present the themes to the children and they choose the material to work with that becomes their form of prayer and meditation - their inner dialogue with Christ.

Charismatic Prayer Group
A prayer meeting has several purposes: to praise, worship and honour God; to build up the Body of Christ through prayer, fellowship, testimony, sound Catholic teaching, meditation on the Word of God, and the exercise of Spiritual Gifts (cf. 1 Cor. 12: 7-11); to evangelize and offer intercessory prayers for spiritual, emotional and physical healing, as needed; and to offer annual parish-wide Life in the Spirit Seminars in order to facilitate the spiritual renewal of the person through a new outpouring of the Holy Spirit.

Men’s Fraternity
We are a group of 50 to 70 men (and growing) who meet every week to explore our Catholic Faith to help us become good fathers, husbands, brothers, parishioners and citizens. It is an opportunity to meet as a band of brothers to build camaraderie and a sense of community. We are presently in the 6th year of the Paradisus Dei Catholic program "That Man Is You". Our men’s group has been meeting for more than 15 years!
